Vitatge Vielh means old vines in Occitan, the ancient dialect of the area. This wine sees some oak and is richer than the other wines from the estate, with a powerfully oily texture. The vines of Clos Lapeyre face southwards towards the hounds tooth Pic du Midi dOssau with maximum exposure to sunlight, yet
