In silver with red enamels, number impressed "2630868" on the reverse, measuring 37. 5 mm in diameter, traces of the red enamels remains, soiled original ribbon, mounted to a five sided aluminum suspension with pinback, very fine. Footnote: The Medal for Bravery was instituted on October 17, 1938 and awarded for personal bravery in a theater of operations; in defense of USSR borders; for performance of a soldier's duty in life
