Three piece construction, in bronze gilt, unmarked, measuring 54. 5 mm (w) x 74. 3 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, large rosette affixed to its original ribbon, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Star of Ethiopia was instituted in 1879 by Negus Menelik of Shoa (later Emperor Menelik II). It was awarded in five grades: Knight Grand
