Germany, HJ. A National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Gustav Brehmer Archive measuring 68 mm (w) x(Ehrenzeichen Gausieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a white enameled disc overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER and flanked by a date of 1938, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire
