Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Pisan Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Albert, the reverse bearing a central Saxon coat of arms, situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 38. 70 mm (w) x 43. 00 mm (h), weighing 16. 1 grams, accompanied
