Germany, SS. A Rare Model 1933 Service Dagger, by Gottlieb Hammesfahr Hold and red cotton threads(SS Dienstdolch M33). An extremely well preserved SS Model 1933 Service Dagger, measuring 37 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 22 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to both the tip and edges. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY) in Fraktur script. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of GOTTLIEB
