with the blade set securely into the gilded bronze upper crossguard with hooked quillons

Complete with original spike base with removable blackened fluted spike, and original fittings on the sides connected to the chinstrap of interlocking rings. The interior presents a thick leather sweatband measuring 50 mm, the interior is marked 19
