Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward facing profile of Kaiser Wilhelm II, flanked by a monogram, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of DEN TAPFEREN STREITERN FR DEUTSCHLANDS EHRE (TO THE BRAVE FIGHTERS FOR GERMANYS HONOUR), topped by a German state crown and situated within a
