There is a previous owner's inscription to front end page. There is also a 2cm closed tear to top rear edge of jacket. There is a loosely laid in small Christmas card with a self portrait of le Carre drawn by himself and also signed and dated. (le Carre was an occasional Caricaturist). About This book is a 1963 Cold War
