Two First War Period Patriotic Pins Auction Archive maker marked "BIRKS 1915" andA grouping of two well preserved first war period patriotic pins; both are in the shape of an Iron Cross; constructed of silvered bronze and red, white, and black enamels; one with a vertical pinback, the other with a horizontal pinback; one marked Ges. Gesch. on the reverse, the other unmarked; measuring 22. 33 mm (w) x 22. 28 mm (h); in overall near extremely fine condition.
