Austria, Second Republic. An Observer Pilot Veteran’s Commemorative Badge, By F. Peltz United Republic of secured in place with magnetic(Beobachterabzeichen). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a green enameled oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a white enameled shield bearing a gilt insignia, overlaid by a central Austrian national eagle in mid flight, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked F. PELTZ,
