the fermentations are spontaneous and the wine is aged in cement tank for a year before being bottled without fining or filtration

The wine is aged between 16 and 18 months in French oak barrels

The Story Grenache 2023 Size::1 Bottle savoury wines with irresistible energyOnly the 5th release from these young 8 year old vines at the Arrawatta Vineyard south of Great Western. A cool late ripening year, it has produced a more medium bodied Grenache with excellent tension with lots of red fruits and spice. The natural ferments, large format old oak and zero movements of the wine up to bottling has preserved every ounce of flavour, aroma and complexity possible.
