Germany, Wehrmacht. A Panzer Assault Badge, Bronze Grade, by Adolf Scholze GTRexclude David Duff of Cayuga(Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze). Instituted December 20th, 1939. Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the wreath around a central Panzer IV rolling over grassy terrain with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the badge, the reverse with a crimped ball hinge, vertical pinback, and rightward
