United States. An Army Artillery Side Cap, C. 1943 Auction Archive Vivid at DevonportA United States Army Artillery Personnel side cap, constructed of olive grab wool twill. The cap features dual fold down side panels which overlap at the front. The panels are fully trimmed with crimson red piping. The interior bears a tan coloured cotton sweatband fully lining the circumference, securely held in place by two rows of machine stitching. A white cotton label on the right of the interior bears a partially legible inscription indicating
