Deep Woods Estate ‘Ebony’ Cabernet Shiraz 2019 dao Ideal growing conditions - warmTotally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Spicy red currant and mulberry scents dominate the nose with cedary tobacco, earthy black olive and bay leaf notes also chiming in. Mid weighted and quite elegant yet generously fruited, red to black currant and liquorice flavours meet up with cedary tobacco characters, black olive and spicy bay leaf. Slightly dryish but fine tannins with a refined medium to long conclusion.
