He was born in 1941 and created a style of art that was completely his own: a sci fi biomechanical technique that was dystopian and futuristic. Giger contributed to both movies, like the Academy Award winning Alien and Jodorowsky's Dune, as well as album covers for bands like Danzig and Dead Kennedys.
