A Fallschirmjäger Badge, Type B, by Paul Meybauer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac inclusive of its "Valor"(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen). Constructed of patinated and gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in position, with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback, maker marked with the logo of Paul Meybauer, Berlin, measuring 42. 66 mm (w) x 53. 44 mm
