In silver gilt, a red enamelled cross shamrock cross, the obverse presents a central blue medallion with a superimposed figure of Alfonso X the Wise, surrounded by the inscription ALFONSO X EL SABIO REY DE CASTILLA Y LEON (Alphonso X the Wise, King of Castile and Leon), the reverse presents a single pin and dual stays, measures 80mm (w) x 79. 4mm (h), weighs 56. 0
