Germany, Third Reich. An Air Defence Honour Decoration, II Class Medal, with Case Newly Listed not allowing all Wehrmacht staff(Luftschutz Ehrenzeichen, II. Klasse). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938 1945 issue). Constructed of aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a double sided circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ (FOR MERIT IN AIR DEFENCE), the reverse bearing a central raised institution date
