Instituted on 3 November 1444 by Gerhard VII, Duke of Jlich Berg. A Gold chain comprising 20 total links, 10 present cyphers in alternating green and orange enamel, each cypher link measures 5. 13mm (w) x 8. 15mm (h), the 10 rectangular links present a white enamelled decorative border featuring two figures with a deer on the left and a horse on the right, the rectangular links measure 10. 47mm
