the obverse of which is ribbed and adorned with a central black enameled 1914 Iron Cross
and one for a Commemorative Winter Campaign Medal
the latter mark consisting of a woman's head beside the "56" gold content (14ct)
the latter padded and exhibiting the impression of the breast star

Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37. 89 mm (w) x 42. 81 mm (h), weighing 7. 3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
