She was discovered after an appearance on the game show Star Search at the age of 10, signed to Jive at 12, and relaesed her debut album, Age Ain't Nothing But A Number, at 15. The record has since been certified Double Platinum. She switched to Atlantic Records and released her sophomore album One In A Million only two years later, working with producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott. Towards the end of the 20th century,
