Scarpantoni Estate School Block 2021 souson with sour-plum Sangiovese acidity andThe perennial Scarpantoni favourite shows plenty of the characteristics that have made it a classic. The current blend is 60% Shiraz, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, which is typical of most previous releases. The Shiraz and Cabernet contribute toward much of ripe black fruits, plums and chocolate that dominate the nose and palate and the wine is quite full in body from the Shiraz in particular, but soft, generous and always approachable, which
