A very well preserved Kriegsmarine visor cap for junior Officers (Leutnant zur See Kapitnleutnant), constructed of dark navy blue wool. It features reinforced side walls which are fully lined on the exterior with a ribbed black mohair cap band. Stitched onto the centre of the cap band is an insignia consisting of a padded dark navy blue wool backer bearing a gold
