They were tied to stakes and machine gunned by the remaining Dyer’s Battalion men who had not mutinied

Insignia in silver with red and blue enamels, mounted to an eight pointed star base, each star point with five faceted rays, hallmarked with a boar's head on the obverse of the integral suspension, measuring 44. 48 mm (w) x 70. 6 mm (h inclusive of its crown and laterally pierced ball suspension), intact enamels, original ribbon, extremely fine.
