An Officer’s Sword, 1933-1945 Auction Archive Institution date 1900The sword measures at 91 cm in total length, with a solid silver blade measuring 2 cm wide and has no engravings along the blade. The hilt is in brass and features a pommel in the shape of a lion head which transitions into a floral relief pattern. The lion head features glass cut rubies for eyes.
