Germany, Heer. A Half-Button Undershirt, Owner-Attributed Example United Republic of Sporadic patches of material fatigue(Heer Unterhemd). A very well preserved Heer undershirt, constructed of a dark field grey wool rayon blended cloth. It features a turned down collar which transitions into a central slash, closing with four pressed card stock buttons on the right which meet an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left. The cuffs of each sleeve have additional slashes which close with identical buttons. One slash bears a handwritten owners name of PAUL G.
