Serbia, Kingdom. An Order of the White Eagle By A. Bertrand, Knight, c. 1917 Republic of Volunteer MedalInstituted in 1883. Type II (1903 1941 Issue). Model II with swords. In silver, two eagles in white enamel, topped by two crossed swords and a crown suspension; the obverse center shows the royal cipher, the reverse center shows bears the year 1882, inclusive of its suspension 63. 2 mm (h) x 30 mm (w), on original ribbon, enamels intact, very fine condition. Footnote: The Order was instituted 23 January 1883 by King Milan I of Serbia. It was awarded
