Romania, Kingdom. An Order of Michael the Brave, III Class Cross Newly Listed in patinated iron(Ordinul Mihai Viteazul). Instituted December 21, 1916 by King Ferdinand I. A First War period cross, in silver gilt and blue enamels, obverse center features the cypher of King Ferdinand I, dated 1916 on the reverse, surmounted by an open work crown suspension, measures 40. 05 mm (w) x 54. 98 mm (h inclusive of crown suspension), measures 12. 78 grams (including ribbon), worn on period original ribbon, enamel restorations on the tip of the obverse
