Vintage Los Angeles "AIDS Walk" T-Shirt Sports Only three years later inAIDS Walk Los Angeles was established in 1985, the first walk to raise funds for AIDS research and to bring awareness to condition. Since then, AWLA has raised $90 million with their annual walk. The funds raised benefit APLA Health, a non profit in LA that focuses on promoting well being for the LGBT community.
