Hemimorphite - China prosperityThis is a great example of botryoidal hemimorphite. Even though it is small in size, it has all the characteristics you want in a nice specimen. This piece reminds us of a piece of cake! Hemimorphite is a zinc base silicate mineral, up to 54% zinc, that often forms tabular crystals. However, it can also grow in botryoidal patterns. Some common colors seen are clear, white, blue, yellow, and brown. Its name comes from the word "hemimorphic", referring
