Glaetzer Wallace Shiraz Grenache over-90 in that it’s fully ripeWallace (Bens grandmothers middle name) takes on the traditional Barossa Valley blend of Shiraz and Grenache, but with a modern twist. 84% Shiraz from 50 to 80 year old vines and 16% Grenache from 50 to 100 year old vines with a yield of 3. 5 tonnes per hectare. The old vine Barossa Grenache has a liveliness and structure that does not benefit from oak maturation, so it was kept to a minimum to preserve the purity and animation of the fruit. The
