Constructed of silvered bronze, consisting of a slightly vaulted Maltese Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms joined the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastika, bearing a central mobile swastika situated within dual circular rings, the reverse with an unusual attachment apparatus, consisting of a barrel hinge and vertical pinback design most commonly
