Constructed of silvered and patinated feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number 25, around a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse fixtures in place, with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo
