A Dress Bayonet, Long Version, By Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 1884 in Withernsea(Ordnungspolizei Bajonett). A well preserved, long version Ordnungspolizei dress bayonet measuring 49 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 33 cm, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and lower edge. A fuller runs the majority of the length of the top edge of each side of the blade. It is plain with the exception of double sided makers mark on the ricasso, with the reverse reading WEYERSBERG, KIRSCHBAUM
