My favourite shade of sapphire blue with a touch of violet. Not quite AAA Grade there a some veils inclusions but overall it's a very clear and bright gemstone. Tanzanite is a rare stone only found in a small section on the foot hills of Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and it is getting harder to find. One supplier referred to it as an endangered species now ! Dark humour but true. The simple Bezel setting has been
