A Gau Essen Badge, Gold Grade, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a pair of crossed hammers bearing dates 1925 1935, overlaid by a sword bearing a mobile swastika on the handle grip, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked HOFFSTTTER, BONN measuring 30 mm (w) x 54 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to high contact points, in near extremely fine condition. 2.
