Teardrop P08920-P00556 and resurrected soft and hardTo create each stunning piece, the artist assembles dozens of small, precisely cut maple blocks into a rough shape, then turns it on a lathe to form an intriguing sculpture of great size and bold impact. The artist's signature use of negative space adds further interest and depth. The surface is dyed, then finished with a high gloss lacquer for a shimmering luminosity and depth of color rarely seen in wood. Signed by the artist Materials: Maple
