201 Brown Street A164826 Inspired by the raw beauty"201 Brown Street" is a painting of the artist's friends in college. She wanted to make a large painting with live models and they agreed to pose for her. They came in the early morning before class began to pose. Some of them fell asleep while posing. Many of them were in a bluegrass band called the "Foggy Vision Boys." She is still friends with many of them, some are still making music. Her greatest joy is having captured the gesture of their youth.
