Victorian Gold Snake Hair Brooch politics 2016 potus Made by Sport SpecialtiesThe most wonderful little snake brooch in 10k gold and woven hair circa 1840s 1860s. He has little red gemstone eyes that look like rubies to me, but I have not had them tested. Unmarked but I have tested the gold to be at least 10k. This was likely designed to represent a snake (18th and 19th century representations of snakes in jewelry sometimes appeared different than more modern ones), but it could represent a dragon or different type of serpent
