The artist has been working on the glass feather series since 2004 in various sizes and treatments

Lively and sculptural

Brand New Lands P08229-P00325 Circles drilled into the tableThis abstract mixed media work captures natural colors and landscape. It was created with natural pigments on paper; each color source is handmade and includes plant based pigments of logwood, cochineal, buckthorn berries, pine soot and indigo. Mounted on a hardwood cradle with an acid free wheat paste and framed with a poplar floater frame with natural finish, the painting is protected with an additional layer via wax and UV varnish. Ready to hang.
